"Quality work, locally owned, family run. A great resource!" Our collaboration with Paperjam was fun, easy, and satisfying on many levels. I shop locally whenever possible, and it feels really good to support a local, family-run business. Paperjam produces quality work at a fair price, and their service ethic is excellent. We're planning a reprint of our original project, and it was so much fun that we're inspired to do a couple more! Our complex project required a fair bit of back-and-forth and some evolving changes; all of Paperjam's communications were thorough, prompt, and cheerful, even in a busy holiday time! As artists themselves, John and Deb(orah) understand and respect artistic vision. They're willing to try different ideas and offer respectful suggestions to support the direction we want, and their paper selection meets a wide range of needs. John is very attuned to subtle differences in color and proportion, and his problemsolving helped us make really beautiful cards. The team also takes great care to catch and avoid mistakes; we're pretty thorough proofreaders and near-fanatical grammarians, so we were very impressed when John called to query a misplaced apostrophe! Their only oversight was corrected right away, which reflects well on them. Deb hung in there with good cheer as the design evolved, and kept us clear about how the costs would change so there weren't any surprises. She also helped us find the sweet spot for our small project: right quantity for a price break while keeping the up-front cost manageable. Subsequent printings will be even more economical, since the setup is now done the way we like it. Yes, you could get online to use a template and have something printed, cheaply, goodness-knows where by goodness-knows-whom; last online printing job we did required phone calls to re-do poor quality printing. For only a little more you can have personal attention, excellent quality and satisfying collaboration. Paperjam is a gem! F.E. and J.P., Portland

I went in with artwork very nuanced in color, and got incredibly true to color results on beautiful paper. They are a pleasure to work with!

Such a great print shop! As a graphic designer who got married, I was so thankful to find this team at Paperjam Press who gave me options, suggested ideas, communicated clearly and timely, and most importantly, printed the most beautiful invitations. Highly recommend!

Paperjam has become my go-to print shop near me for absolutely anything. I’ve been selling greeting cards for a while now, and here’s why I’ll never switch printers.Their customer service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. I stepped into Paperjam without really knowing what I needed. Deb was knowledgeable and patient, explaining the process until I knew exactly what I was ordering. Since then, the staff has been friendly, accommodating, and very good at what they do.These people are efficient! I usually get a response within a couple of hours of when I email. Their quote system is easy and intuitive, but they are still happy to discuss options after you input your initial specifications. I’ve always been satisfied with my order. To reiterate, these people are amazing, truly the pinnacle of small business.

We chose Paperjam Press because they are local, they sat with us and helped with the vision that we had for our unique wedding invitations and created with such wow and we LOVED the final product!

They exceeded our expectations with a beautiful final product for our wedding invitations!

My wife and I recently got married in July. In order to have a safe and fun wedding, it was extremely important that we had our rules for a safe experience printed as many places as possible. So I designed a wedding fan that each guest was handed (along with their mask!) as they arrived. Paperjam was awesome about printing out our fans. They helped us pick the right paper, and to make sure everything looked exactly how we wanted. They even got them back to us during the same visit! In addition to that, we also went through Paperjam for our wedding invitations and various other things we needed printed for the wedding. Every time they were fast, effective and professional. We will be going through them for anything we need printed in the future!

The team at Paperjam helped me with all of my invites and de-vites (hello smaller Covid wedding) and were so professional the whole time. As a graphic designer who has worked with many print shops over the years, Paperjam is the best I have encountered. The quality of their paper is exceptional, their turnaround time was very quick, and the overall customer service is so accommodating. Not to mention, they have an adorable little dog in their office - bonus! Will DEFINITELY be using them in the future!

We recently worked with Paperjam to produce some brochures for a personal project. They were super responsive and did the job well and quickly! We had a bit of design work done in addition to the printing, and the designer understood our wishes and added a few nice touches that really increased the professional look of our brochures. We look forward to working with them again in the future!

These guys have done graphics for all my trucks over six years. Very professional, great pricing, nice crew, super fast!

I recently had the pleasure of working with paperjam for the Art of Weddings Venue Crawl and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for stationary for their wedding! Deborah made the whole process so easy and she was a constant joy throughout the process.

I should have read the yelp reviews before I used them but they had been hashtagged on instagram from a reliable vendor and since I like to support family owned businesses I chose them over an online printer. Bad decision. -Their communication is awful. -They did not follow directions. -There are errors on my envelopes. -They didn't print one of the addresses at all. -They overcharged me and it took two days to get this corrected. -I asked the owner to call me and they told me she wasn't in, but when I called back five minutes later she answered the phone and immediately transferred me so not to have to talk to me. They can respond to this and argue, but as a business owner myself, customer service is king and they failed miserably. The bright side is the invitations look great, but some of the envelopes not. I would never recommend them.

I've gotten things printed here a few times and the quality has been great, though the service never super friendly. However, the moment something went wrong (it was debated whose "fault" it was), they quickly turned accusatory, condescending, and wouldn't fix the problem without a fight. It's a small space and we did overhear the men in the back admit that something had gone wrong on their part, though the ladies avoided that admission. Regardless, we were not there to point fingers, but to have our prints fixed. I'm disappointed with their childish and holier-than-thou customer service and I've since taken my printing jobs elsewhere and had a much better and more professional experience.

We had used Paperjam in the past for our wedding invitations and were very pleased with the final product. But we were blown away this past week with their service - there was an unexpected death in our family and Paperjam was able to make the programs for the memorial service in a very tight turnaround while treating us with respect and accommodating our numerous requests. This took a huge weight off our shoulders at such a stressful time. I will absolutely be using them again.

They did my wedding invitations and and a couple of other pieces of design work for me. I was really happy with the end product and they were super friendly and communicative throughout the whole process.

So, I went here to get some business cards printed. I ended up getting Julie to help me with a design as well. While I think this place is a bit overpriced, the amount of money spent there wasn't the/my issue. The people are ok, I guess, to include the woman owner, but just aren't overtly friendly. Also there is a guy who sits behind a big computer in the middle of the store, I was in there 3 times and he didn't smile at me once. Again, I just wouldn't call it a (super) friendly place. It doesn't have that warm friendly feel to it, and for this reason, I won't go back. I left the experience with a rather bad taste in my mouth and not because I was unhappy with the product, just the people and the place. I urge Portlanders to seek out more friendly print shops; I hope to find one soon!

So much for your friendly neighborhood print shop.... I went in to see about printing some flyers off, 10 color pages. The employee at the desk was nice but seemed confused about if they could do that or not. When she asked the manager/owner she shook her head and gave me the "I should know better" look. "Is there a digital file?" I told them all I had was a copy and just wanted to run some flyers for my business real quick. The lady then seemed to weigh the possibilities but then shook her head, sitting amongst all these copy machines, and waved her hand dismissively saying, "does she know about the minimum? Tell her about the minimum." The employee, informed me there was a $40 minimum for printing. $40 minimum for a tiny place like that? Wonder how long they will last with ridiculous prices and snooty management.

Deb and the team at Paperjam Press are so helpful. They did our wedding invitations and also some items for our reception (dinner menu, etc). Everything turned out beautifully and we are so grateful for their assistance!

We really enjoyed working with Paperjam Press on our wedding invitations. They had many lovely pre-designed invitations to select from that were reasonably priced, and they worked with us to customize the envelopes when we didn't like a liner color so they fit with what we had in mind for our wedding day. The design time turn around was amazing, and we had many compliments on our invitations! We loved working with a local company that we could easily get to.

Paperjam does a good job with printing, but I've had a few issues. I got a one page calendar printed one year and was incredibly satisfied with the results and price. So I go back the next year to get the calendar printed, same size and paper choice, and it was literally twice the price. When I asked them about this they just said the cost of paper went up, but I have a hard time believing it doubled in a year. (I'm an artist and I buy paper all the time.) I was disappointed because I budgeted it to be the same cost of printing as the year before. I literally have no idea why the price would double for the exact same thing. I got less printed because of this, and asked if I could get more printed later if needed. They said yes and did not explain any stipulations. I nearly sold out and got a request for a bigger order of calendars, so I called and asked if I could get 5 printed, and I find out they have a $40 minimum. Which obviously it would be pointless for me to buy that many more. I wish they had better explained to me why the price was doubled, and that they had a minimum. Their prices are nowhere on the website. It's too bad because the results are pretty good - but I don't think I'll be getting my calendars or anything printed here again.

Absolutely outstanding work in helping us design and then print a large photo card to be given people attending a memorial.Quick, reasonable price.Professional and personable.

Paperjam PDX is wonderful! I stopped by their shop a few months ago, and Deborah walked me through all of the invitation design and pricing options. Since deciding on a design, the process has been seamless, and the invitations turned out beautifully! Deborah has been communicative, personable and prompt. I highly recommend Paperjam PDX for your invitation or stationary needs!

I had a vision of the invitation I wanted, found nothing even close online. Paperjam advertised they could create an invitation with no restrictions. I showed them the template of my vision, and with my help, Deb created my perfect invite! Very reasonably priced, great graphic designer. Thanks, Deb

Wonderful shop! I live about an hour from the shop and they were so accommodating. They were able to consult with us over the phone while still providing great customer service. We are very happy with the product and it was very reasonably priced. I highly, highly recommend them!

Deborah and Myles were fantastic about getting my order done efficiently and in a timely manner! I could not be happier taking my business to them and highly recommend using them for your printing needs.

When we got engaged and started the planning process, we knew we wanted a postcard Save the Date and printed invitations. I looked online at some do-it-yourself options and it all seemed overwhelming. Paperjam is in our neighborhood and I liked the idea of keeping our business local so I went in and met with them. I instantly loved Emily and the whole crew. We've worked together over the past 10 months and everything was easy and the items all turned out just beautifully. Even when Emily left and Beth took over, it was seamless. Could not be happier with the cards, invitations, signage, programs, everything. It was a wonderful wedding weekend and the single branded look of all the paper goods really added to that. Thank you!!!

What a fantastic experience! My fiancé and I procrastinated our wedding invites hard. He was designing them but we didn't know where to get them printed. We got quotes from a couple of different places that were way high. Paperjam quoted us a very reasonable price and even better a quick turn around. From submitting the design to proof to print only took about a week. We worked with Beth and she did a great job making sure we felt comfortable and informed through the process. I would definitely recommend this shop. If we can get our act together we will definitely be back to have our thank you cards printed.
"We love working with Paperjam! The laser prints look crisp and the colors are true. It’s also great value for the cost. The staff are all so helpful and responsive. They always let us know exactly what they need from our designer and they do a great job of guiding us through any technical issues. As a small local restaurant we also enjoy working with and supporting another small local business that is doing great work."

"Paperjam Press offered me a lot of options with my 30-page booklet for a client. I was able to get suggestions on paper stock and weight, and the final product was a beautiful keepsake for my client, who was also thrilled. Paperjam understands the details involved in creating publications and print products that also function as works of art – worthy of being kept, rather than discarded."
