Our Portland Artists Pop-Up Event During Little Boxes!

Jyssica Uncategorized

In our last blog post we discussed our city’s appreciation for supporting small local businesses by holding events like Little Boxes, a three-day event where participants earn raffles for prizes from participating small business in the city, and other neighborhood sales and events.

Since we are passionate about our philosophy as a city who values community over competition, we decided to host a special event this year!

We have some very exciting news to share, during the Little Boxes event this weekend, November 23-25, we will be showcasing some of our wonderfully talented artists that we feature in our shop and whose work you will surely recognize on your stop at Paperjam.

Day one, Friday Nov. 23:

Briana Rossi of Little Leaf Ink will be our featured artist of the day!
Her watercolor artwork is inspired by nature such as little leaves, big blooms, tall trees, and magical mountains. Briana moved to Portland 7 years ago and enjoys getting inspired by nature here in the Pacific Northwest. She currently creates greeting cards, original paintings, prints of her creations, and more.

If you wish to see her in action stop by this Friday from 1pm-3pm at Paperjam.

Day two, Saturday, Nov. 24:

Our featured artist for this day will be designer and illustrator Arrowyn Chaban-Lauer of Little Gold Fox Design!
She creates eco-friendly art with a whimsical flair. See all the work she puts into her craft at Paperjam this Saturday from 1-3pm.

Day three, Sunday, Nov. 25:

Our last featured artist for this weekend will be artist and illustrator, Anna Trella Ruth.
Anna is originally from southeastern Pennsylvania but is based here in Portland, Oregon. Her artwork is influenced by the land and traditional arts and culture of her Pennsylvania-Dutch community.

We will also be selling holiday cards by local artists Abigail Jaden of ArtJadenDesign, Nicole Gustafsson of Nimasprout, Drea D. Illustrations by Drea, and Junebug and Darlin.

For those who wish to add a personal touch to their wrapped gifts, our crafting elves have been cooking up some beautiful new additions to our Scrap Collection! Did you know we donate a percentage of our proceeds made from the Scrap Collection to Friends of Trees in Portland? Check out these handmade tags:

And our favorite, family holiday card printing. We’re offering free envelope liners (up to 100 envelopes) with a $150 purchase of holiday photo cards with return address printing!

Lastly, we’ll have other Paperjam Paper Goods being sold this year including wrapping paper, holiday envelope sealers, holiday stationery, pocket notebooks, and notecards — great hostess gifts!

Don’t forget to download the Little Boxes app before you come in for the best savings here and at other Beaumont businesses.

See you here soon for all of the merry-making!

With holiday warmth & cheer,
