We love Kelly, a local, creative graphic designer. Not only does she produce incredibly talented work, her prints are fun and uplifting! We are pleased to be her printing source for her designs. We almost want to keep them all for ourselves. Read on to learn about Kelly and how she uses Etsy as an outlet to sell her goods.
Hello! I love outdoor adventures and getting my hands dirty in the garden. At this time of year I really miss the sun, but I’m a fan of the seasons and the renewal they bring. I am mother to one son, and I can’t wait to meet my second, who will be arriving in June (if he behaves!). I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember and a professional graphic designer for more than 15 years. While I enjoy collaborating with my clients to create designs, I always seem to have some creative juice left at the end of the day.
I opened my Portland-based Etsy shop in January as a place where I can channel that extra inspiration into tangible and purposeful art prints, with just-for-fun prints mixed in as well. My shop started with one simple idea – I wanted a visually appealing print to hang in my laundry room that would remind me what the symbols on clothing tags mean. I designed a print and posted it to my store; to my surprise, an order from Australia came through just a few minutes later.
Inspired, I expanded to prints for the kitchen, nursery, playroom and beyond. I stick to crisp, clean lines and simple layouts, which I find offer the most visual impact and appeal. My goal is to create art that easily fits into the homes of my customers. Prints can be produced in your choice of 56 colors and many have customizable text options. I’m always thinking of new print ideas, and I really look forward to seeing where this adventure takes me.
