JOB POSITION: Order Specialist/Graphic Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION: Intake and process orders which includes communicating with customers, entering orders, and managing workflow through final printing. Review and prepare customer files for print using Adobe Acrobat. Design custom items including wedding invitations, calendars, business cards, brochures, postcards and other printed items. Design Paperjam marketing collateral and product packaging. Take product photos for blogging and other social media purposes. Post-Production work as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Exhibit a solid sense for typography and an eye for good design, especially as it relates to invitations and other printed pieces such as brochures, postcards, & business cards. Grasp of color spaces, color profiles, and press sheet sizes in preparing files for print. Proficient with Mac computers using Adobe Suite software - particularly Illustrator, Indesign and Acrobat. Attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy is a must. Meet deadlines and work accurately under a minimum amount of time pressure. Ability to stay professional and calm under all situations. A keen aptitude for verbal communication. Ability to perform simple math using addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.

JOB AVAILABLE: Immediate opening

JOB REQUIREMENTS: graphic design degree and at least 2 years of experience in customer service and design.

HOURS: Full time : Monday-Friday. Able to work 1 Saturday a month.

RATE: starts at $15 hourly for first 90 days. Moves to $17-$20.

BENEFITS: Vacation and Discretionary Days and 7 paid holidays per year that includes your birthday.
